Sandibe Safari Lodge enjoys a prime location in the magnificent wetland wilderness of the Okavango Delta. In a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, the lodge nestles between the permanent water of the Santantadibe Channel and grassy plains where elephant, tsessebe and buffalo graze, stalked by predators including lion, leopard, cheetah and serval. A thousand elephants move across this area of the delta.
Sandibe’s eight deluxe, thatched cottages have elevated game-viewing decks overlooking the river. The camp’s dining room and lounge face the setting sun. Superb dinners are served under the African stars in the boma, on your private verandah, or on a sumptuous ‘bush banquet’. Activities include day and night game drives in open Land Rovers, bush walks guided by a local San guide, river cruises and mokoro trips.
